Iron Chef is the best show ever. It's so amazingly ridiculous. I weep with joy whenever I see the intro.

Haiyan and Jiujun are Proud to Announce the Birth of their Child, Yin, on April 14, 1988.
Unfortunately, Yin is the cutest baby ever and no-one can stop fussing.
Haiyan and Jiujun are confused. So very confused..

You are 82% Canuck!

Now that's what I'm talking about! You did good, you really, really did. I can call you my friend and not have to feel ashamed, and I thank you for that, really I do. Thank you, that is just really great!

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

Umm...the Hart House washrooms near the music room are the most sketchy creations ever. They're so...putrid and old-looking. One word: wallpaper. And...little flowery patterns. A weird olive green sitting thing. And...yea. Just sketchy in general.

On another note...I should do my chem lab right about now.

HA!

I love DC++. Outside of chem today, I watched Finding Neverland...such a good movie...but soooo sad. Kate Winslet! BAH!

I'm now watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

On another note, MY Charley knows how to shake hands now. If you put your hand up to him and say "Hello! Hello!" he'll place his little paw into your hand. AAAAAAAAH, cute.

Hmmm...it appears I lack a note of pessimism in most of my posts. But that is not the Yin way.

In conclusion: happy Thanksgiving.

The note of pessimism: Not so happy for that turkey.

So, I read a few of my past entries and realized most of my posts were decidedly pointless. I sound whiney and shallow in some. Sooooo, I shall endeavour to sound more pointful and interesting.

On another note, I met Simone and Emmett at Union last night and we took the Go Bus back to Hamilton. It was pretty cool because we're all at different universities. How unplanned.

Is it wrong that I find MacDonalds cheeseburgers sinfully good?

Haha. Seems I made symphonic band. Score. Practices are 6:30-9:30, though. That could be a bitch. :P

I sat next to an annoying girl in Physics today. She kept on asking me questions...and then when my explanations turned out to be unsatisfactory, she started annoying the guy in front of her. Good lord. Hahahahaha, and I answered a clicker question wrong today. Hehehhe. I knew the right answer too, I just pressed the wrong button. Silly Yin. But then...clicker questions don't count. They just "Track" our progress.

Sooooo...I got a positive space sticker from David my don (who's gay) and I put it on my door. And my roommates just asked me if I was gay. Hmmm...Interesting. I had to tell them that you don't have to be gay to show support. ANd then they refused to allow me to put a positive space sticker on our suite door. I appreciate their opinions...but...you can't help but feel kind of bad.

I feel semi-conscious. I think I slept with my window open the other night...and it was pretty cold outside. Wind entered room, enveloped Yin, inadequate coverage by blankets...equals Yin has something that is between a fever and a cold.

No coughing, really...no stuffy nose, so it's not a respiratory tract infection. Uhhhh....

It's one of those feelings where you do stuff, but you only vaguely know where you are or why you're doing it. As I'm typing this, my brain has some weird anchor at the back of it...I'm short of breath too.

Highly unpleasant.

-------------------------

Today, went downtown and hung out with Itxel. It was highly amusing. We people-watched and saw Julie at the library (Julie = this girl who volunteered at the library when I did last year).

Apparently, summa cum laude names are already on the Westdale wall. Sweetness. I must see mine sometime. Must bring a camera.

--------------------------

Somewhat started packing. Not interesting...

BUT

I got my parents to buy me food:

- Vector
- Honey Oats Cereal
- Fruit salad cups
- Granola bars
- Juice boxes
- Peanut butter
- Macaroni salad
- Cookies

(To bring to residence, of course...snacks. I don't expect to need to buy much of my own food during orientation week. Mmmmmmmmm.......dead cow.)

Hahhahahaa.

Since my father switched cable companies, I am currently without actual TV service...I just have Internet. But that's okay. YouTube is my friend. So, basically, with our antenna (really old) we can pick up CBC, something that I think is CTV, CH, and, here's the kicker...this super religious channel.

I watched SuperReligion (new name for this mystery channel) and it was playing BENNY HINN. Dude. I totally understand his appeal now. He's like John of God, but gloriously Hollywardized. Hahahahhaa, and all his audience were in awe of his brilliance. They were nodding, praising the lord, and this one bit went something like this:

"God is always in and around you, but he is not always upon you....when he leaves you, you are anointed. Do you wish to be used by God?"

Audience: "Yes!"

Yin: "Good LORD. God wishes to USE me? What kind of influence is that on those impressionable Catholic priests?"

Wow.

I'm definitely going to have to start watching Benny Hinn. He's so bogus...but so impassioned and slightly...interesting.

Hahahahaha.

Benny Hinn.

"Moses wist not that he shone. *Religious orgasm* This is marvellous! This is so awesome!"

Yin: "..."

"It's premiere night here for Attack of the Clones, but outside the Ziegfield Theatre is the real show: Return of the Dorks. Thousands of 35-year-old men waiting days even months for just a taste of George Lucas' table scraps. Lonely men who have never had sex...not even with a Catholic priest."

"Here is a spoiler! ...You will die alone."

"The groom has kissed the bride..after years of practicing on his sister and his ewok doll."
